Nice pictures Austtie!

It's good to see that people are still following up on this stuff.

I know Ethan and Sir G. Kumquats have been trudging about in wet places underground quite a bit.

Haven't seen much of the LA underground scene lately, nice to have the update.

I've actually been doing some draining myself, but it was 2000 miles away, so not really in LA.

Also, was going through the attic and found an inflatable boat that I COMPLETELY forgot that I had! Looking forward to doing some drain boating!

Thanks Therrin!

Drain boating would be awesome, I've always wanted to try it.

Yeah, I read that you're moving to Illinois (I'm assuming that's where you've been draining). Too bad, It would've been nice to explore with you; you definitely have a lot of experience underground.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your draining pictures in the future, even if they aren't from LA.

Thanks! I'll probably be back around at some point, over the years

If you ever get the chance, try to hook up and explore with 41n 93w, he's a super awesome guy. Very nice, knows his way around. I only got to 'splore with him one night as a last-minute kinda thing but I had an absolute blast 'draining with him. Fond memories.

Shitloads of cockroaches too, omgz.. ugh. Makes my skin crawl just thinking about it D:

Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =)

Great! Keep me posted, I'll be around.

Yeah, I saw the pictures you two put up, it looked like a fun time. Hopefully I'll be able to get in contact with him sometime in the future.

Haha! Cockroaches are the worst.

When you swing your light around and it looks like the walls are ...moving, it's just cuz they're COVERED in a blanket of cockroaches that are trying to escape the light as you move it. heh.

Yes, nice to see where people have been going!

Haven't really been posting on UER lately, myself. But I have been doing some tunnels (though not as often as I'd like!). Here are a few photos:

Nothing would ever change; nothing new could ever be expected. It had to end, and it did. Now in the dark world where I dwell, ugly things, and surprising things, and sometimes little wondrous things, spill out in me constantly, and I can count on nothing

Somewhere within LA county is a drain with "ancient" pictograms. Part of a four-tunnel system, this specific drain tells some interesting stories through paintings found on the walls.

I won't show the entirety of the pictographic story here, because part of the fun is seeing it for yourself.

This is where the story begins...

Thanks Therrin for showing me this tunnel.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if they do it again. They basically just opened the door and let us wander.

Whoah, who does the tour? Did you see any other way to get in?

Amazing picture

Here is my contribution to the pool:

2. Proof that the tunnels can be explored by bike. In fact I wouldn't do it any other way.

That is awesome. It reminds me of the tunnels in San Francisco.

There are also tunnels in Orange County if you look hard enough.

Nice stuff.
