Just an update. They have began demolition. A good portion of the South side is already torn down.

I was there about three weeks ago and observed up for about 45 minutes while two squad cars orbited the building and one officer was on foot with his flashlight looking for something almost religiously. I became impatient and then left. I hate seeing that its being torn down now and I didn't even get to check it out.

I went there about two months ago, and had absolutely no problems. Got into the Psychiatric building, and Neonatal ward with no problem. I'll upload my terrible cellphone pictures soon.

even though that section is gone, a large part is still doable.

It's now gone...

I may just have to check it out tonight then.

Thats what they were doing when we tried to go there on friday! Arresting two people. I love that place...

Dude... they are demolishing the buildings. Why the fuck do they care if someone is pillaging the place?

I was there a week ago, driving around the campus, and I stopped to text my contact about how excited I was about the place. Some cops stopped right behind me when I parked my car and just... waited. I was there for a good half-hour, and I think they were waiting for me to go in. I drove off, no problem. We went on, what, Friday, to actually go inside, and there were three cop cars pulled right up to the entrance on 9th and Colorado. I didn't see any cops 'cause they were all inside the building. The contact said there were cops all over the campus before I got there, though. When we left, he said they had semi-automatic guns.

So that's fun. I'm terribly sad 'cause this is the ONE huge place that I haven't been... Let me know if you get any bright ideas on getting in and if I and a friend can tag along.

Is there ever a better day to UE in Denver? Like, a lull in DPD presence?

The biggest lull in pOlice, during a cop funeral... They are ALLL, an i mean all, every district. At a church off Hampden.
