if you guys could see some of the places I took my 91 Cavalier... it was fearless. Mud, snow, 4x4 trails... It only got stuck once... It was a rut from a front-end loader that had a snowdrift over it. Hung by the frame was I. Had to have my brother tow me out... almost 20 years later, I have to hear about it at family gatherings.

I had a '93 Tercel like that. The one time I got it really, really stuck, I had to be rescued by my friend's lifted Cherokee- which had trouble getting to where I was. Turns out I was stuck on top of a fallen tree that was under the 2' of snow I was plowing through.

When my friend arrived, the first thing he said was "Did your throttle stick?"

Ah hahah...

worst stuck also involved a Toyota... remember those ugly little AWD wagons from the 80's that had the 5 speed + Extra low to the left of 1st gear? I think it was a Tercel SR5 wago. I got it so buried on a snowmobile trail (yes, SNOWMOBILE Trail) i had to have a front-end loader come up the road as far as it could and string out about 300 yards of cable to pull me back to where the car would go again.

Anyone got a 12ga with buckshot? This waterpump change is a headache. I'll put the car out of it's misery. Lol. P.S. where did you get that cargo basket? <3

Those timing belt/ water pumps are cake. Basket came from my buddy's moms truck and unfortunately was sold with the car .

Starter bump method ... works everytime on the Subarus. Or if your not feeling quite as risky put two short 3/8th extensions in the holes surrounding the bolt and place a pry bar between them and wedge it against the frame rail and use a cheater pipe.

What suspension setup were you running on that Outback?

Hehehe... I had one of those 4x4 Tercels for a field car. I installed a snorkel made out of PVC pipe on it, which actually worked.

I'd kill for a tidy one of those. (Although Jesse Pinkman's sold for pretty good money, and it wasn't exactly tidy.)
