Thanks! That is the infamous Haslett Chute and Conveyor Co. fire escape system. I shit you not. It's a spiral slide that has a door on every floor leading to this exit near the front of the building. It's obviously seen better days.

My brother used to work at a junk mail distribution facility, and the mailroom was on the fourth floor, so all mail was placed into military type duffle bags and set on a spiral slide to get to the first floor. Employees would sit on the mail bags and ride the slide. I never got a chance to do that, being it was my brothers place of employment, but I have always looked for similar places in abandonments so I could give it a shot sometime. Cool find!
