| | | Awesome for me until I got back to my car, parked at Cedars Station... it had been broken into. However, the joke was on the dumb criminal -- my car is full of trash, and all he did was scatter it around. On the plus side, he didn't break any windows -- though my driver's side window now has an annoying whistle. I'll have to see what got bent. Also, I guess he -- or someone -- felt sorry for me. 'Cause he left a CD player on the roof. I took it to the station and put it on the bench before I realized that the car had been burglarized... I suppose it might have been useful for prints, but no police department is going to take a nothing-missing, slight-damage incident seriously enough to dust anything. Chalk it up to experience... Cedars Station has very little parking, so there's seldom anyone there. No traffic means no eyes on the bad guys. Next time, I'll park at Mockingbird like I usually do. J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte. La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!" Dieu m'a exaucé. |
