| | | I'm new here and i may as well start out by showing that i have been to a few places already and have found a few locations too look into aswell, and i look forward to being a full member sometime, these are a few places i know a fair bit about. Mcnabs island, pretty much no chance you will get caught and lots to look at. The is fort mcnab which has a few pretty interesting tunnels you can get into easily(they are really dark so bring a flashlight\lantren) theres Hugonin Battery which is awsome, its really old and was just recently shut down, theres strawberry battery, a little hard to get there but the reward is good, a place that not many people go too and is really cool, shanon park isnt anything really special, just empty apartment buildings, the radar station is cool for the first time but gets boring fast. Anyway if you would like info on these places let me know. I have tons of pics of Mcnabs. Just let me know Via PM.

| | | I'm from Bridgewater... The old mall is on Aberdeen Road, behind the Wandelyn. Also, there is some type of boarded up building, coming out of town on your way to Petit Riviere, down the river. I don't know what it was. I've driven past it plenty of times. My parents are from Lockeport, and there is this house near my grandparents house. The owner passed away when my dad was a kid, and the house was locked up and left there. There are still curtains in the window. I've been in the Vogue Theatre when it was open... that was back in 1996 I do believe... I can't remember when it closed. When I went back to Cape Breton for a visit, I was surprised to see it closed.

If its what I think you're talking about, its an old power dam. Just on the other side of Fancy Lake.. near where G&G 's Kwikway was.. [last edit 8/5/2006 3:16 PM by tribeachpunk - edited 1 times]

The old jail is in Centre near Lunenburg. I've heard its not a safe spot for exploration.. The old Met Mart store in there (the mall) is the worst as far as water. When we were in there water was pouring in through the roof.

| | | How exactly do you get into the old mall? Next time I'm out biking, I should do a little poking around. I've never done any real urban exploration... (I don't know how real you'd consider the old mall lol) but yeah, poking around abandoned places is something I'd love to do in the future. I'm glad I found this forum. I just randomly decided to google uban exploration in Nova Scotia and up came this. [last edit 8/7/2006 2:13 AM by scarcelyheard - edited 1 times]

| | | I really want to go now. Everyone refuses to go with me. My boyfriend was like, "Im not doing anything illegal!" "Well, you download free movies and music... how is that not illegal?" So he won't go. I don't know how good of an idea it is to go alone... argh, it's killing me though. I really would like to check it out.
