| | | The old infirmary was amazing but was demolished this summer. There is the old DND base that is still there and completely abandonned although it's still DND land so you want to be VERY careful about trespassing. I think there is an old abandonned hospital/asylum near Halifax but not directly in town... Can't remember much about although I researched it quite a bit at some point. Sonikgirl might know of other locations...

| | | Blake, most urban explorers will not give specific locations. A major part of the fun is researching and finding locations... I've never asked for anybody to give me specific locations like coordinates and such. If you're bored. Go outside, walk around, take the bus around the city, look around and you'll find great locations. Good luck! [last edit 11/8/2005 11:27 PM by maZe - edited 1 times]

| | | well you see.....thats full in all..finding "fun places" and such, But it's kind of a problem when the nearest bus stop is in sackville. Theres Not a place to go, where we live everything been Conquered . Well might as well go back to places and get a "proof of purchase" photo or something. I'll have some pictures loaded up on here soon. But thanks for the somewhat of an inspiration..I guess..

| | | There's an abandoned YMCA in Dartmouth, near Mic Mac Mall. It could be demolished now, though. I've never been to it, but some friends of mine say it's easy to get in. First post.

| | | The abandoned YMCA is in the process of being destoryed as of a few days ago I guess... I never got to go in, they locked it up pretty tight, but my boyfriend did go in before with his friend. We are kinda looking for some places near dartmouth/halifax.

I was indeed in there before. It was a couple years ago, as I recall. It was pretty cool. Almost every window was boarded up. Some of the rooms inside had beautiful beams of light everywhere. There was an empty pool about 12 ft deep. It was filled with lots of assorted garbage, including a fridge. I remember we went back there about a year ago, and my friend climbed up on the roof. All the entrances were now -securely- bolted up. We found some bullets littering the ground outside, which was kinda unsettling. Anyhow, we're in the process of finding some neat areas around here.

I live about 5 minutes from it, currently the set of the Trailer Park Boys set, not sure if the building is occupied, but we've come pretty close to being caught by Security on two occasions now. Whatever original, or interesting in there would have been cleaned out by now. I know friends who went in one summer day last year, they said it was incredible. Half of an xray machine, patient files all over the place, xray sheets, and the morgue door was even pryed open. I am a photographer, and an urban explorer (as part of a lame introduction to the forums). Been reading Infiltration on and off for a while now. I've done a bit around Halifax, nothing extensive and unfortunately, nothing abandoned. If anyone wants to get in contact with me, maybe do some exploration sometime pm me and I'll toss you my email. Good to meet everyone, by the way.

ghosts..ppfft,,,,The building it self creepy... but i have see nothing to make me belive there are ghost in there, And i been there problemy the most out of a lot of people. (ill tell you a little seceret thoe,,the "orbs" only show up when you use a flash..dust ) The place use to be bomb(realy cool) before they tore down all the other buildings.. about 2 years ago, im talking about maybe 75 buildings. rangeing from houses,stores,firehall/commuity building. But it is still a very interesting place to visit I Have picture from last weekend on my site if anyone's interested. I very please the way they turned out. www.borderlineblack.piczo.com (i had to put up the disclaimer..my family has enough law suit problems)
ps: (sorry for the bad spelling but spell check doesn't have the words a want)
