Now it seems that a company (Avenue Communities) has proposed to do what the City of Tempe has been promising for years. Develop it into a mixed use facility utilizing the historic structure. I would say infiltration at this point would be almost impossible due to the location of the mill and full time security now that the site has "historic importance". While this will be one less abandoned place for the already scarce Phoenix area scene, I am glad to see that they will be using some of the original structure.
