| | | there's IPSCO warehouse, but they're tearing it down rather quickly. and I've heard rumors of a Costco warehouse somewhere. and there's that restaurant under the cambridge building. And the secret tunnel to victoria that's made of gold. and chocolate. And is filled with two for one ice cream coupons.

Naww. there is no try, only do or do not...

| | | They're taking the Cromdale Hotel down? Is that a hotel that is right across from a... Safeway, on 118th?

| | | That's the one, cloak. The place is nicely boarded up. Not that we had much time to look uninterrupted on both trips to see it... right Feztaa?

| | | That's a pretty public location. I imagine it would be hard to get in there unnoticed...

| | | There are some potential entrances around the back side (eg, the side not facing 118th). You just have to be a ninja to get to them ;)

| | | Ahahaha. I'd have to work on my ninja-like abilities it would seem.. Yes, "ninja-like". That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I think the Cromdale it too high-tech for me, really. I'm not ready for that sort of expert-level infiltration. [last edit 12/29/2005 7:51 PM by cloak-and-dagger - edited 1 times]

| | | Nah, just throw yourself at it and see what happens. Just don't get caught. And then you get to brag about it online. 118th is a somewhat rough bit of town, i wouldn't be surprised if there were people living in the hotel if it is at all accessible. that's not to say it should be avoided though.

| | | Oh my GOSH! Is the Cromdale ever boarded up! You'd have to be good with locks or a ninja, SERIOUSLY to get into that! Me and my friend tried for a while, and just felt like fools. And the police are pretty tight around there too. They drove by every like 10 minutes. And then I ended up falling off a fence and cutting up my pants, coat, legs and hand. No boasting for me. But I got a couple pictures! And I found a condemned house with my friend intact with an open window and a hobo-shed that someone was living in. Too bad I don't know how to fully use my camera. I lost the shots I took in the shed, and I am planning to go back to the house. I have to heal up though, first.

| | | The reason they drive by lots is because there is a police station around the corner

| | | hey, does anyone know what the semi-demolished temple/rental hall (???) north of baywood apts on st albert trail is? I can't figure it out, let alone if it's a good place to try. (also, it's far away from my house, and I'm enthralled to public transit)
