I know the one you're talking about. Haven't checked it out as it is WAY out of my way, and I couldn't remember the exact location, but it looks nifty.

I don't think the word "nifty" gets used often enough.

I've been trying to use "keen" in everyday conversation. Neat-o.

Ahahah. Well that explains a lot. And there's a liquor store right behind it too.

Yeah, that's that liquor store that was in the news a few months ago because a couple people got killed there.

Have fun! ;)

There was a stabbing a couple blocks from where my Father lives a couple months ago, remember the party that got out of hand? Yeah. Teens killing teens. Exploring can be dangerous, but I don't really have a bullet-proof vest to wear. Besides, the Cromdale is an expert-level infiltration. Too complicated for my liking just yet.

can we keep this list going?

does anyone know about the tall grey building at the north end of the legislature grounds? I think it's called The Federal Building. That's been abandoned for years, no?

Last I heard the Federal Public Building has been closed for several years. I've also heard that it's patrolled by security guards and used for storage. Other than that I am most definitly sure it's abandoned.

Greetings! I am new here.
There is the most delightful abandoned physics building on the university campus. It will be torn down quite soon, there are workers during the day. Cleaning staff in neighboring buildings come around at midnight. Of only a couple interior doors that are locked, one is the steam tunnels entrance. Asbestos is about to be removed.

EDIT: Gah...forgot to mention that all exterior doors are currently chained with heafty padlocks. I have an 'entrance' however.

I have some, going back for more soon, is there some sort of hosting service for them?

Way to go... ya just scale them to the acceptable size, and post as described below. I haven't figured out, or looked into any hosting services, many seem too commercial, cluttered and all. A gallery tag is probably best if you want to post more than 5 or so.

Mods: Pardon my double post

Was anyone female here recently at the university taking pictures of the centre for subatomic research being demolished? I saw someone while scouting out another potential entrance. She had a bit of a look as if she dident want me around, as I was watching from a nearby area.

What day? We had to leave early because we heard footsteps in the upper floors? I dont think I will have a chance to get inside the subatomic research centre, unless they leave the particle accelerator tower longer then the rest. Soon I am going back into physics, but from the looks of the tarps in the windows, asbestos abatement has started. I hate gasmask use, so sweaty.

Have you been into physics yet yourself? Either go up or down, the main level floors are not to interesting. Elevator control room up top, and the rooms with pipes and helium tanks in the basement and sub basement are awesome.

We were by there Monday night, maybe around 10 or so?

Went past there tonight, and all that is left is that tower, the rest of the building is down now.

Ok, it was not you then. Heh...I was over there tonight as well, just briefly at 10 something to snap a couple pics of whats left, and to get into the basement area of biosci(which was sucessful, but as it is not abandoned, is off topic here I guess). My entrance to physics is still good, and my usual group I go with might not be all that interested in going back. Anyone up for some physics exploration(Im a noob here, Im pretty sure noone will jump on that offer...) if they are not interested?

They are attempting to destroy the subatomic centre currently. I was watching from the roof of BioSci(another nice place to be) for about 5 hours today. The reinforced concrete walls are very thick, around 2', because of the what was once inside. After the entire day today they only had a 10x20 foot hole in the building.
