| | | New Feature Test. You can now click a mispelled word, and then click the appropriate button at the top to automatically replace the words in your writing with the correct spelling you selected. Enjoy!

Funny you Misspelled misspelled, but fortunately I corrected it for you! Tijmen P.S. It also corrects all occasions (not just the clicked one) of a word which is in most cases but not always the desired behaviour (though I know it's very hard to correct that) P.P.S. What's with the red words? Is that christmas things too? 31572.jpg (27 kb, 748x816) P.P.P.S. Thx to the spellcheck, maybe, one day, very very maybe, I'll learn allways is spelt as always. (we have a sanitary napkin brand here called allways)

Ummm... http://www.always-...be/be_FR/home.html Maybe they spell it differently on the boxes there, but the website hasn't caught up?

| | | The red words must be some sort of plugin you have installed, it's not anything UER is doing. "always" is the correct spelling, "allways" is not a word.

If this was at me, I was pointing out to IIVQ that, from the Always website, it appears that it is always (ha ha) spelled "Always," even in Belgium, so the website I was referring to was www.always-info.be, not UER. And if you weren't talking to me, then... never mind! -- Mat

| | | Great feature; I feel like a total balloonhead; If I was writing responses, the spelling would be perfect, but with the keyboard, forget it, unless you are carefull you make stupid mistakes . I'm surprised at the amount of typographical errors I do make.
I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying. |

I'm pretty sure it's not that: there is not much spyware available for Konqueror... But let's not go down that road, I know how you thing about Konqueror. Tijmen P.S. I still hate the snowman.

Sorry, My fault. Dutch spellcheckers don't like English texts. Tijmen. P.S. The snowman is *really* pissing me off right now.

Use a real browser, like Firefox, which has a plugin called "adblock" that will allow you to simply block the offending image from being downloaded from the server at all.

| | | I know it's purely algorithmic, and the dictionary file probably obtained from a 3rd party, but I couldn't help but notice that the spell checker recommended "fistfuck" for "Festivus." Good to know that the next time I accidentally type "fistfcuk," the spellchecker definitely ought to catch it for me Edit: Well, it also recommends "festivous" for "festivus," but not "festival." Just a strange algorithm I guess. [last edit 12/27/2004 4:51 AM by Arrow - edited 1 times]

| | | I love the new spell check feture with the interactive buttons, life saver. Not only does it make me look like less of an idiot but it also just makes reading the forums so much easer. So in sum thanks.

| | | Is there any chance of having the spell-check feature extended to the "Story" function? I was writing one tonight and it would have been a big help (though I suppose I could just write them in Word and paste them in here). -- Mat
