| | | Posted by hoover 2 I wasn't sure where to put this but Is it ok if I post events (like drain parties and meetups in the twin cities) on UER so I can possibly meet other explorers? I found the events page but I can't post anything on there yet. Can someone please help me with that? I just wanted to make sure that was ok to do before I do it.
| Who are you looking - drain parties are a bad bad idea here. It’s a good way to get busted and or dead. One rainstorm unexpectedly and you or one of your fiends are gonners. That river is not your friend. So many think ok just get spat out into the river that river , even the strongest can’t survive in for more than 2 hours with life vest on before hypothermia and head trauma. Please please please don’t advertise to anyone outside the community about the drains either. It’s not smart. If you need a partner I may be able to find you a mentror or a partner your age - I’m guessing you’re probably pretty young? Let me know send me private message and above all I speak out of love for everyone and I don’t want to be hauling your body out of the river or the catch nauseas like I’ve already had to do more than I care to talk.. just be safe 1. Don’t invite outsiders by sharingburbex links on meet up or fb please. 2. Do find a partner, do not ever go alone. 3. If you are going down, tell someone, tell anyone who can hold you accountable for your return. 4. Check in points and times save lives especially in the twin cities underground. One of the most hardcore haphazard exploration grounds especially considering the river. Tell your checkpoint buddy a time and a location. If they don’t hear from you that exact time then they bring rescuers to the location. If you’re good at being self disciplined you may never need the rescue team drain and river combing. Love True for you fellow human.

| I second what Dofflin said, hoover is very experienced with drains (specifically) and will explore them with a passion of likes the which you have never seen. And like Dofflin stated, The drain meetups are pretty great for new explorers, and offers a good way to meet other people looking to explore underground or really whatever. That, and like literally some of the only things you have to worry about here in the twin cities with drains are like, the river level, rain (and other weather depending on the time of year) and maybe rusty ladders. Unless you're out here trying to lift manholes in the middle of roads from underneath, but at that point its Darwinism Good luck out there and welcome to UER!
