| | | Hello I live on Montreal north shore. My brother and I always liked to explore little construction site or random places when we were child. But we just start our real adventure on exploring more interesting sites and older places this summer. (Both of us with a common friends) Yet we just went on about 10 different location in Montreal. But only manage to get into 2 of them. (we still suck a bit, but we are motivated to learn) I hope to meet people with the same interest on this forum, have fun and share knowledge
(sorry if my english is weird, I'm not retarded, just french XD )

| | | So, I'm not exactly a 'new' member, seeing as I've been lurking around the site on and off for about 2 years now, but it's probably time to introduce myself. UE is something that's interested me for a long, long time. It's the perfect way to combine two things I enjoy - adventure/exploration, and old buildings/places/things with history. I wouldn't say I'm a history buff, but old asylums, houses, resorts, and schools definitely bring out my curiosity. I've only been to a handful of these places in the last several years, and it appears that new locations (obvious ones, anyway) are only becoming harder to find thanks to demolition and renovation. Apart from UE, I keep myself busy with all kinds of activities - crafts, art, car stuff/scenic drives, game nights, video games, etc. Recently, I've been doing a fair amount of hiking/trail walking in one of the local state parks. Seeing all the cyclists on the trails has made me consider taking up mountain biking as a more efficient means of getting around (and to get more exercise outdoors).

| | | Hello, I was referred to this site from an adventurous friend that has been a member for a few months. I'm psyched to have found this resource. I'm JB a photographer out of Cleveland, Ohio and 55. I've been running around and exploring abandoned buildings, making photographs of the structures, still lives, model shoots and watching how nature reclaims her spaces for over 4 decades. "I've become an urban historian an have been urban exploring throughout North America, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Our mission is to document America before it is gone. They are erasing our history, we are all witnesses." We have posted 50+ videos on our YouTube channels and will posting them. A cop told me I was to old to be wondering around in abandoned buildings. I told him he was right and I was a bad man for being an urban explorer and I did not want to break a hip. He let me go with a warning… That's my new hook… I'm to old.. LMAO!!! 1. PEACE and safe travels!!
