| | | As someone who has seen almost every proper people video, I'll critique them in 2 areas, the content, and the community. The content is amazing. If there was a video that an urban explorer would want to watch in his spare time, the proper people would be it. The atmosphere, the shots, the music, and the narration are all on point. Community wise, I can understand where the hate is coming from, but at the same time who gives a shit. Like honestly they are putting mad work into these videos, trying to be respectful as possible, and your hating on them. Someones always gonna fill every spot there is in the economy. For the proper people, its abandoned buildings / urbex films. Would you rather have some clickbaity annoying you-tuber name dropping every place they go to. I wouldn't. If anyone is gonna make urbex videos, the proper people should be it. Keep up the good work boys, love your content.

| | | I like doing research by watching YT videos in that they show me the shape the location is in, the sec situation, potential POE, hiding spots etc. Big advantage right there. Also fun to see locations in countries I don't have an interest in visiting. Yes, there is always the risk that the uploader has blown up the spot as well, but if they don't upload, someone else will eventually anyway. I would say you have to determine case by case - how likely is the video to blow up the spot, how popular is the spot, what identifying details are visible, all that. I haven't watched more than a handful of videos from the channel so I can't say. I personally don't upload such videos publicly because of that risk, but I know others will do it regardless of whether I like it or not. Photos are a better way to obscure information, but I have been getting more interested in seeing/making videos recently.
