| | | Posted by Ciano Me and some friends took an 8 track player from a factory that was scheduled for demolition so we could smash it later. But if I'm not absolutely certain that a place is going to be destroyed imminently, then yeah, take only pictures, leave only footprints.
| See.. why did you do that. If you are gonna take something just to destroy it later then you are stupid. All of the stuff Me and the others at the Historical Society take go straight into the museum with permission from the state [Who controls the property I referenced]. Just plain stupid. I remember Tom, the guy who runs the historical society I help. Anyways he used to be the DEC Liason for the site we focus on now, but he wanted to get out an old coke machine and this was back in 2002ish. This coke machine was newer but still cool. These kids came into the mill and smashed it because "The place was being torn down". Funny story the plains to tear down the site failed expect for the melt shop and continuous caster. But still, that coke machine sits with old cans of coke still in it. Smashed to pieces, I didn't think I'd ever find it, but I did and ya smashed beyond repair. Fucking shame what disrespectful brats do, they make Urban explorers my age look like shitheads..

| | | I posted this before, but it seems relevant here. This guy took everything he needed from abandoned buildings to build a 50-room structure in his parents' backyard ... crazy amount of stuff ... check out the video link. MOLE MAN "MOLE MAN follows RON, a 66-year-old autistic man who has spent the last five decades building a 50-room structure in his parents' backyard. Using no nails or mortar, Ron instead creates perfectly balanced structures from scavenged materials he finds in the woods outside his Western Pennsylvania home. When Ron's father passes away, leaving him living alone with his 90-year-old mother, Ron's siblings are left to figure out what's best for Ron - who has never been officially diagnosed with autism - when his mother can no longer care for him. In an effort to find the money to keep Ron in his home, his friends team up in search of a mythical mansion Ron insists lays abandoned in the forest. But will they be able to find it? And, more importantly, does it even exist? This is the story of an extraordinary life, a family, and the beauty of thinking differently." https://www.molemandoc.com/media

| | | Yes. Vintage, antique or interesting light bulbs. If I can get to them before the retards with rocks do. It's rather rare that I find any worth taking though. Most are just your run of the mill modern trash or have already been vandalized. But occasionally a gem pops up. They're so fragile and and almost guaranteed gone once a teenager sees em so might as well preserve that particular subset of history. below are various mercury vapor lamps, including a self ballasted sun tanning lamp. and some incandescent lamps. Also found a power groove tube. very rare. I found the power groove tube in the rafters of a gas station that was about to be demoed. I actually found six of them. two eight footers and four six footers. very bright beastly tubes from the 50's and 60's. [/url] Other than that. No not really.

| If your uncle Jack were stuck on a roof. And he asked for your help. Would you help your uncle Jack off? |
