| | | Hey all, I'm Steve. Already introduced myself in my region, but figured I'd post here too. This site came recommended from a buddy in Cali who is a veteran Urbexer. I'm somewhat new, been doing it on and off a couple years, but recently got more into it. I'm based in Wisconsin. Sadly I don't get out as much as I want (it's hard with two kids), but hoping that'll change soon. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. If you'd like to check out my work my photography page on Facebook is https://www.facebo...girardphotography/ and I'm on Instagram @girardphotography1 I do more than strictly Urbex photography. I also enjoy shooting historical sites, old bridges, landscapes, nature, and architecture.

| | | So I have been a member for quite some time and I just realized that I haven't properly introduced myself yet. I discovered this site back in 2014 and had another account but I forgot the password/username. Anyway, I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I am actually going to be moving out in a few days to start the next chapter of my life so I will be travelling around a lot. I am pursuing entrepreneurship and as far as interests go, I enjoy video games, reading, working out, and exploring new places. (which I am sure, if you are on here, you do as well.) As for music, I can listen to just about anything but my favourite genres are death metal and rap. I explored a few locations here and there but I am just getting back into the hobby and still consider myself very new to it. I used to get really bad anxiety and I get paranoid very easily. If anyone has any tips on how to control/conquer your fear of exploring, feel free to PM me. I'm looking foreward to being here and connecting with you all!

| | | Hi, I'm new here. I'm more a photograph than an explorer, but I'm always interested in finding hidden spots. I live in Montreal, and I'd be interested in starting exploring (and taking photos of course). I find 2-3 spots that could be nice in Montreal, but I'm not sure how to access them. I'd be interested in meeting people to explore with them (to learn the spots, the access, and take photos). Let me know if you're interested. I also did some Parkour few years ago, and I'm gonna start rock climbing but I'm not very comfortable with heights yet. Thanks

| | | I've been lurking for a few years, but finally decided to start being an active member. Why now? In this year, 2019? Mostly so I could find more places to explore, now that I have a friend to go with me, and now that I've kind of ran out of places I already knew from word of mouth, and my own discoveries. I'm based in the D.F.W. area, so I'll mostly be posting from that general area. Besides Urbex, my hobbies include: cooking, fermenting things (Mostly mead, and rice wine), Pokémon GO, reading, watching anime, and geocaching, which I guess occasionally crossed over with Urbex. If anyone recognizes my username, I use the same one for almost everything.

| | | Hi, just joined today after lurking for many years. I do most of my exploration on my mountain bike and the occasional hike. I live in the San Jose area of Northern California, where there are a lot of hidden gems to find while out on my long rides. I am ex-military (USMC), having spent my uniformed years working on HAWK missile systems. I say that because there are a lot of old military installations in the Bay Area that have quite interesting histories. The closest one to me is one that has provided many years of mystery and intrigue: the old Almaden Air Force Station that used to sit atop Mount Umunhum in south San Jose, California. Many years ago we used to hike to this prominent landmark (where the Cube sits), evading the private security teams that roamed the area, the armed landowners firing off warning shots, or the rangers of Mid-Peninsula Open Space District. Hope to see you soon spelunking in an old mine shaft or abandoned missile silo!

| | | Hi y’all! New member from the Nashville area in TN. I’ve always been super interested in local history, old buildings, and abandoned places, and now finally have gotten out there and started exploring regularly! I’m a 3rd-year college student, pursuing a biology degree, and along with urbex, I love photography, antiques, and collecting. Hoping to attend some local meet ups if there happen to be any near me! Would love to meet more explorers in the area. Oh, I also have a Instagram where I post urbex (along with some other random photography). It’s the same as this, @exploremiddletn
