Going through the gorge, it's often closed with slips.
It's not traveled much anymore.
In 1922 they tried to farm the gully and built a bridge.
In the 70s when farming in the valley was abandoned vehicles stopped using the bridge and it was no longer maintained.
By the 90s, the bridge was near to collapse and in 1994 was restored for historical significance.
People moved from the area they no longer needed the post office.
