Yes.

I just went today and it was pretty good.

It was a legit thing. $35 for an hour.

I ended up with concussion from headbutting a low section.

When you say "mine".... Are we talking 1800s unstable mine with rotting wood and decades old, crumbling architecture? Or is it just an old mind with new props made into a business. Personally I wouldn't mind playing paintball in some of the mines I've heard of. But those are pretty semi-stable mines.

$35? Is that an all day price? If it is, and the place was deemed safe I sure as hell would. Also someone turning an old factory into an airsoft field would be awesome.

It says just an hour, which is a little much for my budget, but it does sound fun. I can only assume it's passed the muster of inspections. That's lawsuit waiting to come down on a lot of people's heads (no pun intended) otherwise.

There's an old prison in Ohio that the owner holds or at least has held Airsoft games at.

Sadly it's $35 for the hour.
It's 90 minutes from the city & there's a mining village (free) plus there's nearby beach caves and stuff so it's a day trip.

The disclaimer I had to sign was pretty detailed (it even covers ant bite ).

I'd say a chunk of your $35 goes on some kind of insurance.

Google Wonthaggi mines.

They were pretty dodgy but they've fixed them up and opened them up to tourists. They were locked up as they worked on them to make them "safe".

We've been infiltrating them for many years. The tunnels beyond the tourist sections are pretty dangerous.

Clips 2, 6 & 7 in this playlist are of the mine (2 & 6 are pretty old).

I was in two mines today and the thought occurred to me how awesome it would be to have a mini airsoft/laser tag battle in one. It would have been extremely dangerous in the mine I was in because the drifts were so deep/shooting rotter/ladders broken. Still had fun imagining a team doing an upside down rappel down the main shaft.

I'd love to do something like this. Too bad legitimate abandonment field games companies aren't more popular, and that there aren't any in Wisconsin.

That is Jaegerz Paintball. They have an extensive set up in some old cold storage mines. Definitely a safe deal there. It's a lot of fun though and nice and cool year round. We play there a few times a summer usually.
