Sadly it's $35 for the hour.
It's 90 minutes from the city & there's a mining village (free) plus there's nearby beach caves and stuff so it's a day trip.
The disclaimer I had to sign was pretty detailed (it even covers ant bite
).
I'd say a chunk of your $35 goes on some kind of insurance.

That's what it's all about ;)
Posted by theshadow_razor When you say "mine".... Are we talking 1800s unstable mine with rotting wood and decades old, crumbling architecture? Or is it just an old mind with new props made into a business. Personally I wouldn't mind playing paintball in some of the mines I've heard of. But those are pretty semi-stable mines. |
Google Wonthaggi mines.
They were pretty dodgy but they've fixed them up and opened them up to tourists. They were locked up as they worked on them to make them "safe".
We've been infiltrating them for many years. The tunnels beyond the tourist sections are pretty dangerous.
