| | | Samurai, May the way of the warrior guide you well. . . I myself have had 3 open heart surgeries. . . and have been on the fence for having another one the last 8 years. . . Being on the fence sucks. But Not having any options though probably sucks worse i'd imagine. I have been on Medicaid or the free state insurance system for a long time now and in 3 different states. As you don't make any money now it should be fairly easy for you to get on as well. There is hassle sometimes but every state is different. I have had free cardiologist exams, appointments, and minor procedures all on the state health system. Anyways Samurai, be well

| | | been a flurry of paperwork these past couple of days. Had to track down why I have not been getting temp disability checks. Paperwork wasn't being sent/delivered. I also broke the news to my employer that I would not be coming back. What was funny is that as much as I hate my job, I was apologetic at not returning. I miss not so much the job, but some of the maniacal bastards I work with. There are some genuinely talented and funny people that work there and I miss them, miss the interaction with them and sometimes miss being pissed off at my job. It's probably some weird masochistic need I might have. So sent to the company handling my 401k for a hardship withdrawal. There was $22k left in the account so after taxes, I should have enough to pay the Chevy off, or at least close enough where I can either trade it for something lower priced that I can afford on a fixed income, or sell it outright should it come to that. The car has 88k miles on it and traditionally, the finance company I have been with since 2001 would rather work with you than snatch the car. Yay me. Other than that, I keep plugging along... Stress test in April followed by the ever popular sleep study. I have apnea and the doctors think that is a big part of why my heart has been on a rocket sled slide into failure. So, again, thank you for all your generosity and concern. I can't really convey how much it means to me. Seriously. This is one of the best groups of people I have had the fortune of knowing. Thank you.
