Mr. Blue, he's back on UER now. Not a raccoon, crazy hobo, or the werebuck.

i mean...it is easy to get Mr. Blue and the werebuck confused sometimes....

Coulda sworn your name came up at one point. Meh. How's the Mag Lite of pummeling doing? And how big are geiger counters? [last edit 10/25/2009 11:19 PM by AnAppleSnail - edited 1 times]

| | | Collecting dust. I just received and modded the Ultrafire i ordered from Dealextreme about 5 weeks ago. I think i'll just start using actually functional flashlights, and just bring along a crowbar when i need to deal with a radioactive hobo or two. Flickr feeds on pictures occasionally by randomly changing the links. It's too far gone for me to edit that first post, or any of the other ones I've made for this place. -.- There's stuff around all over, although you might have to spread your search some.

| | | God, I can't wait to go to this place in the Spring or whenever everyone decides to go again. The cooling tower is so massive. It truly is like being on top of the world. I can't imagine how windy it must have been up there. But I do think I would enjoy the sensation of potentially being swiftly disposed of by something as simple as wind.

it's windy, but not unbearable. knowing how far down it is to the ground is enough motivation to keep your grip steady on the ladder. i really want to see a nice sunrise from the top.

| | | So I'm thinking about organizing a trip to this place pretty soon (I won't post the date since this is a public thread). If you're interested in going, PM me. It's a really intense trip and I need to be careful about who we trust with the location and also just keep the whole group size down, so don't be offended if I say no. Doesn't hurt to ask though. Preferably people who haven't been before. [last edit 12/29/2009 8:22 PM by DJ Craig - edited 1 times]

Damnit, this location is 400' tall and can be seen for miles around.. But really.. i can agree this thread being public could very likely draw unneeded attention to the place though
actually, I was among a trip to baby government spiders today...

It might and will bring attention, it is not hard to find out what that place is, type it in google and a very similar picture will come up that was on the thread, I am going to try to make a trip there this fall early winter

| | | the original photo thread was public. there are only a couple of these places in the country, even fewer with cooling towers. 10 minutes using Google will lead you to every single one of them if you're not an idiot. so the damage has long since been done concerning public threads and this place. =\
