Just in case anyone was wondering about clearances between the tunnel wall and the train, here ya go. I still wouldn't want to be in there while a train passes.

Keep in mind too, that not all tunnels have that much clearance. Most only have 2 to 3 feet. Depending on train speed, the vacuum created when it passes can draw you UNDER the train. I know.

Actually, I think that it might've been a double track tunnel originally.
