Description
Ye Olde Elecktricitie Distribution Pannelle: Reprise. Actually this is a modern DIN rail panel, standard in Europe. It's just had its cover removed. Very unsafe, eh?

DIN = Deutsche Industrie Norm, the German equivalent of ANSI. DIN rail panels are modular power distribution panels/fuseboxes. You can combine different switch, light, fuse, timer etc modules to build custom panels. This one's missing its cover, so you can see the innards (and, behind the middle three fuses, the rail from which it gets its name).

In the USA miniature breakers are not allowed as primary overcurrent protection.
