Description
Some kind of weird electric tricycle! This guy was an electrical fanatic, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one that built this.

Its been a while but I have seen these before. My question is what the hell is that Craftman 12V bazoka thing beside it?

That would be a leafblower. As a former Sears employee I can tell you that these units were actually still available fairly recently, unlike some of the other rotting junk.

This is something else I enjoy, mysteriously abandonded houses, especially eccrentric stuff like this. This is an old school "hoveraround" as seen in infomercials.

A 12V leafblower? Did you hook it up to your car and have your wife follow you around the yard?

Maybe it was a rechargable type ?

Or had a wallpowered step down transformer ? That would kinda make sense as mains current along an extension lead in the garden isn't too safe!

Hmm, I kinda like the....oh hell! I just had a terrible though, me walking with this thing and the GF following me in the Kenworth!

People people... 12V is supposed to be a rating of relative power. Yes, it was cordless. Consider it to be analagous to how relative drill power comparisons are often expressed in volts.

Yeah, as I suspected; a 12v driven cordless leaf blower.

As a former repair route truck driver for Sears, I can vouch that the leafblower probably broke, like much of everything else with the Sears label on it. :P

With your hoveround's seats of rich corinthian leather, you'll be cruising in style...

  Another wheelie thing! Hell yeah!

As the spouse of a current Sears.com employee, I can vouch that the company's stock is in the toilet.
