The massive wooden headframe over the main shaft of the Log Cabin Mine, consisting of an elevator and mine car rails. This is the most impressive headframe I have seen.

  It's weird to see it bare. In Canada, our mines used sheet metal to cover the outside.

  Thats because in Canada our weather is always changing/unpredictable
