Metric, shmetric. It's a good system but the old one is so ingrained in certain industries that it'll never completely go away. For example construction still works in feet and inches, the railroads still run in miles, etc...

the only north american rail line that measures speeds in KM/H is the montreal metro. I know temperature in celcius but dont ask me to tell you what i weigh in kilos or how tall i am in centimetres
