  Yeah, there used by a garbage dump between the Bonaventure and Alstom. My dad used to drive me home from Cité du Havre daily after school in the 70s and I can still remember the gases being burned off from beneath the STOLport.

  There is still plenty of vent tubes all along the road south of Alstom in the technoparc! and the dump itself is constantly releasing toxic fluids in the river.

  the entire verdun waterfront from crawford park to the point is all dump!

i was reading a book about nuns island. they once in spring drove a truck across the ice to make a delivery to the nuns and then the ice melted earlier than expected and the truck was trapped for the summer
