This geographical location actually has a name: Northmount, a name which was also used by the real estate company which presumably originally owned the land. Nearby there is also Northmount Avenue. This would therefore complete the mountain grouping of Westmount, Outremont, and Mount Royal (technically "eastmount"). I've been living, walking and cycling around Northmount since a little kid. My father and I used to see snakes, rabbits, and make echoes rebound from the rear walls of the main building in the photo. Sadly, today most of the green spaces around the UdeM complex have been taken over by as many buildings as they could jam into the area!

the real issue here is, are those buildings shaped like the letter M or the letter E ?
