i never take anything as focal as that. I tend not to take anything that wont fit in my pocket... so it's usually a slip of paper or a door sign or something of that nature.

seriously though, somebody does still own the property and i can't imagine them just forgetting its there so i think its best if the leg is left where it currently resides. Thats just my opinion though.
