One of the walls along the basement borders the TRRA tunnels now used by Metrolink. The back wall (it's really too dark to see it) is a newer concrete wall that seperates the basement of this building from the tunnels. The walls must have been poured when Metrolink was being built. It's interesting because this area almost appears as though it was to be a train station of some sort, yet I don't beleive the tunnels ever were used for passenger service until Metrolink came to be. Either way, I can say with reletive certainty that the building was designed with access to the tunnels in mind.
