hard to believe that the train would go down there from where we can see that track. They would go forward then back up down another level, then forward, etc, until they got the train where they wanted to go.

Yeah, this must have been a pretty awkward place to run trains. BTW, does anybody know the proper name for the escarpment that runs from here out past Turcot Yard? I used to know it, but the name escapes me now.

i know in ndg they call it the st jacques escarpment and its a protected area, gabriel was in hot water for tearing down some trees behind the old terry pontiac buick next to the belvedere motel
