I'm with 2X. Large, abandoned industrial volumes ROCK! Detail shots are all well and nice, but it's pics like this that make you appreciate the scale, the grandeur, the impressiveness and the sheer, glorious massiveness of the manufacturing industry that North American had once attained, before we sold it all off to the Chinese so we could concentrate on shilling ring-tones down each other's throats while they slave for 50 cents an hour...
Nevermind me, I'm wasted.

Jeeze MapMan! That's the longest post of yours I've ever seen and you're still pretty articulate for being wasted.

It's the Glenlivet, Barry. And the local microbrews. Stick with the good stuff, and you too can be ranting incoherently into small internet-based comment boxes until well into the night too. At least until the bank calls in the line of credit anyway...
I've been (sorta) following your threads about having a TX-style UE bash and I gotta say... you guys should really stop selling youselves short. Yeah, maybe the locations you've been posting are of a transient nature, but the sheer number and quality of them puts most every other state to shame. Certainly the distances that would have be covered to check out the avalilable sites are greater in TX than anywhere else, and then there's the risk factor of having the most amazingly cool location fall off the map during the planning stages, but if you guys really put your minds to the logistics of the situation... it could work out real good.
Then again, I'm four and a half sheets to the wind. Only an idiot would follow my advice...
