Absolutely breathtaking vandalism. I guess there are more houses around this site that you'd guess from the photos. Or are people coming out to the sticks to tag this thing?

Yes you are correct OptFly, Antioch is a large city of 100,000 people, and while this is in the rural southern part of town, it is very accessible to anyone who wants to go, and the new subdivisions are right over the hills. The site itself is on a road that nowadays is not very well travelled by anyone except teenagers, and there are often cases of arson and animal mutilation along the road. For these reasons and the fact that this road isn't the safest, the city wants to close it down to motor traffic. They have been talking about this for years and I have yet to see any evidence of this, so I'm guessing it will stay open. And I was equally amazed at the amount of vandalism. So many lost structures from arson, now only the foundations remain...

This site is around the corner from my house. The road has been closed. There is a golf course a bit away that watches for trespassers, and calls the police. Otherwise good times. Been there several times.
