If there's one thing that I noticed, its that, whatever the river levels are controlled by, it doesn't seem to be really effected by the weather. Within reason, obviously.
I've come over after intense snow melt to find the river resonably low, while the water level was also high at one point mid summer. I have no idea what's going on. Damn control? And what do they base the water levels off of? Boat traffic?
