Some publishers and record companys enjoy screwing artists/writers with a "minimum sale" clause that goes something like - "We will gladly publish / distribute your work, providing you buy the first 1000 copies" - it's a dirty trick, and this may be a result of that.

That price is optimistic. I paid 25 cents at St Vincent de Paul. Just HAD to find out what it sounded like after seeing this location. Talented, I guess...but not in a style anyone wants to listen to now. Wonder if he's related to the MacPhees I took piano from as a kid. One Saturday, I showed up for my prepaid lesson and they were just gone. A neighbor came out and said they'd seen the family pack up their 2 storey house and skip town the night before. Strange that it never surfaced in our small town where they went or why they ran.

Nah, typical sorta down east fiddle and step dance type stuff...but this guy's got no charisma. It sounds dated. Like someone had Ferrante and Teischer play their kitchen party. Zamfir-esque. If you're gonna play in the Maritimes, you gotta have a fiddle in the band. :)

Ferrante & Teicher: Elevator music/easy listening duo from the 50s - 70s. Did a lot of movie soundtracks. Georghe Zamfir: Master of the panflute. Released a bunch of Ronco "only available on TV" albums back in the 80s, performing popular melodies such as "Your Song" (Elton John), "Just the Way You Are" (Billy Joel), "Don't Cry for me Argentina" (Andrew Lloyd Webber...also Madonna), "Head Like a Hole" (Nine Inch Nails...okay, maybe not). Zamfir-esque: Of or pertaining to Georghe Zamfir or the panflute.

Zamfir-esque wasn't intended as cruelty. It was just a short way to get the concept across, and I figured the younger kids might have more luck Googling him. FWIW, if you looked at my LP collection, you'd find a ton of cheezy looking old organ records. They can be a lot of fun. :) Sorry, Samurai...I'm usually careful to doublecheck for non-American references before I post anything. Anyway, add New Brunswick, and you got it. strike300 - thanks for understanding!
