My first thought was that comment I made about photography. But one of the switches reads 'turntable motor', and what I read about processing master matrices seems to corroborate this.

I don't know. Some other parts of the factory had instructions stuck to them in Greek.
This part was for mother and stamper production, so the staff would be highly paid sound engineers, highly trained, and probably well educated enough to suss out the labels on the equipment.
Very amusing aside: the label on almost all of the the master envelopes I found on the floor read 'stamper/pressing master', except in Greek letters (actually pronounced something like 'stamber/pressin master').
