DDshizzle and I drove out to have a look at this notorious property. Local groups are pushing to have the site cleaned up or demolished, but at the moment an eight-year-old kid could walk in blindfolded. As did we, with cameras held high. Kind of neat to see what was lurking inside all these years, and surprised to find the building in such (relatively) good condition. The site has all the traces of vandalism- broken everything, arson, scrappers, etc. Scared a tagger out of the lower parkade level, but the graffitti itself pretty thick and worth a look. Also, I checked out a small drain pipe on the property. It goes in for about 25m, reaches a chamber where the pipe gets smaller. Raccoon tracks in the bottom.
