     History
    from "Versatile" on kcurbex.org:

I think that you are talking about Merryvale Farm. I think they are turning that property into a golf course. The house is empty right now and if you found the right person then you might get in and get pictures. I was in that house briefly years ago and i do know that there are secret compartments in some of the bookcases(this coming from a girl that lived there). I seriously doubt the new owners know that. That might be you key to getting in. That farm used to have some big barns that have since been torn down and had a lot of horse awards etc hanging on the walls. I think the owner might live in the house to the west on the hill(not sure). You will enter the street from Holmes Rd. How the name Merryvale farm i don't know. At one time it was owned by a guy that had a ranch in Ca in between Bo Derick and Ronny Reagans place. I was told that and cannot verify. I do know the guy committed suicide about 15 yrs ago.
