This old factory consists of several buildings all connected via elevated walkways. There is at least several million square feet of building to explore. For the most part the buildings are in decent shape, however some buildings have bad water damage so the stairways and floors are not safe. -------- As of 2021 the site has largely been demolished with 1 Ferry St and 3 Ferry St buildings being saved and reused.

Not too many details yet about the history of this place. It was originally built as a large mill with it's own damn, railroad tracks and water power. Since it initially closed, it has been used by many small companies both for factory and office space. The only current occupant of this massive factory is the October Co. whom are using a VERY tiny portion of the space. The remaining space is abandonded.

01/2021 - https://www.gazett...hg-010621-38127210 (archived @ http://archive.today/EHtQf ) "A site long recognized for its abandoned, dilapidated mill buildings is on the rise as a private developer continues renovations of the 1 Ferry St. mill complex while the city makes road and utility upgrades to the area. The $45 million project to redevelop the 310,000-square-feet mill complex at 1 Ferry St. — bolstered by the city’s improvements to the area’s roads — “completes the Mill District,” said Easthampton Mayor Nicole LaChapelle. “It’s kind of the capstone of the Mill District.”
