I'll be around the weekend of 12/3 if anyome wants to see the San Pedro. Its the largest I've found up there so far with a few hundred feet of tunnels and wooden track.

there's actually a meet n greet that saturday (12/4). It's right next to diablo, up in antioch (you should come!) and one of the options that's being considered is maybe heading to some of the easier diablo mines, weather permitting. Even though i'm not sure the whole group would be up for tackling the san pedro, I'll still let you know if we end up going towards the mountain

JK, Sounds good but I would only want to bring 3-4 people up to the San P. Its a decent hoof up about 2000' and some fairly steep goat trailing along the cliffs to get to the opening. To many people will also make the trail in more obvious, I've only seen signs of other people once or twice in the 20+ years I've been going. The whole trip can easily be 3-4 hours depending on the group and the route.

Yeah that makes sense. Like I said, if we do go near diablo, i highly doubt we'd do the san pedro.

that's actually the mine i put the "guest log" in, because i was just as curious to see how many other people knew about it. I've been checking it once a month, and last time i checked there's still nothing in it.
