But unlike you, most of us just go from platter to platter, and there's nothing wrong with serving leftovers for the 30th time on the site last I knew.

IMO, it takes most of the fun and excitement out of "exploring" if you already know everything that's in a place. Sometimes even normally dull places can be somewhat interesting if it appears that you're one of the only unauthorized people that have been in it.

I don't even want to argue with that. All I'm saying is, as long as I keep eating off platters, I have no issue whatsoever with serving others from the same platter. None of the places I've been have been anyone's secret except one that I

I'm happy to take locations from friends/strangers both on this forum and elsewhere. Right now, I don't even have a car of my own so I can't just cruise around looking for abandonments I'd love to find a new place, where noone had been before me (sorta got to do that right here in my town; a small building scheduled for renovation. Basement of it hadn't been touched yet, and had some interesting stuff lying about), but for the time being I'm happy going anywhere

The Viaduct runs through the Callowhill Loft District, which is overrun with hipsters. This is just another one of those things a hipster would probably do.

I don't have a car either, I just wander around, bum rides off of my friends and pay for gas money on roadtrips. You can research new places from home, at least.

I research places, yea, but I don't have much success finding new ones. And I carpool and split gas money with my friends too to get somewhere, so I like to know it's worth getting to before we go ;)

[EDIT]
By research places, I mean checking out somewhere known. Looking for possible POE from pictures people have taken, or even StreetView

No. Not out of secrecy, I just think it would be boring to write about it and even more boring for others to read about, and my pictures aren't special.

I take bad pictures with my point and shoot. i also have little to no interest in getting better so i just explore and enjoy the shots i took as reminders. I've never posted my shots.

i share a few photos from time to time, but most of my explores are sensitive locations, and people could get in trouble if they find out ive been in some of them.

keep the sensitive or graffiti free site quiet don't want people messing it up and speeding up decay of usually nice buildings. You got to throw a bone once a while, plus if no shared, what is the point of this site,we all are looking for new sites to go to, why not share?, but not giving up my squat,i got squatters rights. Just don't throw parties in every place you find and don't make poe too open for everyone to wreck

I haven't shared any places. I feel that many other explorers can tell their stories better than I can with pictures better than I have. There also aren't enough explorers in the area who would find my info useful. I do like the sense of community, though.

I used to every so often. I have one location in the database which isn't extremely epic or anything. I don't post much anymore mainly because I haven't gone out and found anything that hasn't been seen before.
