Don't use a metal 60 pound fire escape ladder unless your in a yet to be discovered situation other then a fire that really calls for it.

i don't know what kind you got, but fire escape ladders are no where near 60 pounds.

Sorry, what was that you were saying about forever alone?

From the looks of mine, it is from the 80's (judging from the box) at least. They might have been heavier then, but all I know is that this thing was not light and a hell of a work out to carry.

It's not easy being cheesy.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing something about Baxter on the news and I was going to mention it to you, but it looks like you beat me to it. I forgot the name of the school that the "new Baxter" is replacing, but in about 3 years that one will be AWESOME to explore. It's something like 102 years old.

Yeah, I was the last 5th grade class out of that school before it shut down. It was nice to be able to go there and say my good byes in a way.

As soon as my friend uploads the pictures and emails them to me, I'll post something about the school.

Cool cool, it'll be interesting to see. One of my first UE's was at my old Jr. High before they converted it into the new town hall. They couldn't knock it down because of all the asbestos. haha.

Oh and be careful around Cheverus, ok? I'm sure you've seen the most recent news story...

No, I haven't. Send me a link if you have one.

Also, on the note about fire escape ladders. I used to top climb ontop of Cheverus (!). It was easy enough, although I felt like it was going to break, There was no wall for it to cling to so it was kind of just being suspended in the air like as if it was going into a helicopter.

I got up there but also, it took a lot of effort and upper body strength. People who are smaller should probably just get boosted up instead of trying it, it's more for big people who couldn't be boosted up.

I don't have a link, but there was a big story on the news about how vandals had thrown rocks through the stained glass windows, so they were upping patrols in that area.

Well that ruins the fun for me. I obviously won't be going back there anytime this summer.

The school year there's always custodial staff on campus, I guess that's it for Cheverus. Bummer.
