The brief article I saw regarding the property's sale indicated that it was sold to a holding company that's actually partially owned by Mike Jackson himself.

It's been said all you can hear now is the faint sound of zippers on boys shorts going down and the resulting noise of folding hundred dollar bills being given to the parents :p

This morning on the Howard Stern Show (Babbabooey!) they interviewed rapper "Akon," who mentioned that he'd one been friends with Michael Jackson, and he remembered that Jackson had his own IMAX theater somewhere. They didn't really start where, but it was kinda of implied it was in one of his mansions...

It may actually have been that he just rented out a regular IMAX theater for a couple hours.

Didn't someone post up pictures of Neverland Ranch a few months back. I remember them being somewhat disturbing, all the rides had airbrushed pictures of kids. Looked like some twisted Precious Moments" kinda stuff.

One thing, for those who have been to NL, perhaps that was a small version of an IMAX near the rides? I have a pic if anyone is interested. No windows on the building except at the very top, and I'm not even sure if those were windows. I always wondered what the hell it was. On the same side as the waterslide and bumper cars.

BTW if anyone is going here, much of the stuff is hauled out according to neighbors so GL finding cool stuff.

hah, sorry, but the risk/reward of disabling the alarm system and then B&E'ing into the house of a notorious celebrity doesn't exactly calculate for me.

who said disable the alarm? that place is miles from civilization. i'd plan an entrance and exit and then trip the damn alarm. who cares? it'll take forever for anyone to get out there IF they even bother. you'll be long gone by then.

leave the gun. take the cannoli.

Even if the alarm were disabled, it no doubt has a redundant backup line to inform a local monitoring station of tampering, the outside bell or horn boxes will have tamper switches on them. It would be daunting to say the least, to attempt breaking into a paranoid pop stars residence. Motion detectors, infra red sensors, glass break detectors. All of these are cheap and plentifull.

That valley is full of movie stars that pay alot in taxes, the CHP and County Sheriff, and also private security would just love to have a high speed chase on one of the few roads that lead out of the area.

Fun to plan, risky to try!

Dave, for you, this is a very bad idea. Anyone passing by in a vehicle is going to see you just as easily as when you were spotted outside LAXT.

[edit] Additionally, a CHP station and the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Office are 15 miles away, not to mention this is a public forum. Plus, it's already been done . . . . . no need to go again.
