| | | | Central Florida - Crumbling Farmhouse < on 6/16/2008 11:24 AM >
| | | My first location post to UER. I admit is is not a terribly exciting location, but I really enjoyed the derelict charm. Unfortunately I had no idea about the existence of UER at the time of this or else I would have taken more detailed shots! So, I have passed this falling to bits farmhouse on Hwy 17 over and over again while on my way to visit my parents. Finally I had the time to stop and take a closer look. It sits in a large active cow pasture (watch out for the guard-cows and their leavings!). I have a feeling this one may not stand for much longer, it was literally crumbling around me as I walked. 1.

| | | Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment I'm hoping to post some more interesting locations next week..I've got my eye on two. One should be easy access, the other not so much.

| | | place looks neat. I would imagine lots of snakes and gators in those parts..
40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware. |

| | | You mentioned both the Oklawaha and 17 as you drove on 17 and visited the river on the same trip. Your folks live around Palatka? [last edit 6/23/2008 7:36 PM by Otaku - edited 1 times]

Yes, they actually live in Pomona Park which is just south of Palatka You might know about the old citrus plant on 17 then...it's my next post, just have to get the pics sorted. What a kick-ass place...I could have spent the whole day there... so many buildings. I'm hoping to get back to it really soon.
