I'd like to present a side of the El Toro MCAS that few have seen. I would also encourage everyone to view all 191 images in the below linked album. The following are by no means the only highlights.

Unbelievable, they finally hit the housing on the north side of Irvine Center dr. I didnt think that would happen for a while.

That last pic is very cool. All those empty lots intrigues me. Kinda reminds me of Love Canal in Niagra NY.

40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware.

I'd have to say that these two are my favs on here. I'm sure there's more, but they have a good contrast and good reflection.

Any reason why the first few were low-quality, and the last few were high-quality?

Good job otherwise.

Railguy,

The first few images were taken with the ISO setting pumped WAY up, and I wasn't paying too much attention to how the images were looking while on site. Mid-way through, I realized my mistake and mitigated the issue. Thanks for the accolades, I too really like the pictures.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing them!
I particularly like the sandbags in the street. It looks kinda like what I think a post-martial law situation would feel like.

too bad about the ISO, though the grain does seem to fit with the images. these are beautiful and desolate, especially the ones of the basketball court.
the weather is so appropriate. i would love to set a film here.

Nice pics man. Looks like the weather was cooperating to give them a real apocalyptic feel. The swing sets and other playground stuff remind me of that scene in Terminator 2 when the nuke goes off.

Correct. Accessibility depends on what time of the day and what you and your party are willing to do to get inside . . . . . PM me.
