| | | Posted by cloak-and-dagger Wow, tough luck. If I were at a location where a cop car drove by, I'd probably leave. Chances are they've seen you. Maybe to help you out in the future you should wear more black? Just a suggestion.

Leave? Chances are the Police driving by is just that, them driving by. Once they enter the property you are on then you decide if you should leave or not. If I had legged it at the first siren or cop car i had seen on any explore, I would hardly have done anywhere.

| | | I always thought it was a good thing to park off the property your checking out..Reason being.....if the cops or owner comes up on you. And you have not been caught You have the chance to get away.....But if your car is on the property..and they call in your tag number..your more than busted..But if you park on a place were theres a lots of cars...< MALL... 24 HR WAL MART > it might be ok

"We figure we could wait a half hour to make sure that they didnt swing around again, then head inside. By coincidence or not, the owner drives by, pulls a U'y and parks. He then proceeds to question us about our business, and asks us to leave." True. But is it worth this much hassle for a house?
|
Yeah, and a pretty dodge looking house at that. Why would you want to to "get in one way or another." You now if you get caught in thee again that the cops are going to say that well you were warned. I'd find something else to explore. The town I live in has an abandoned house on the main street which runs out to my burb. One day a mate of mine and I were walking into town which takes about an hour. It was hot, so we sat down on the porch or this house. In less than three minutes the cops turned up and asked what what we were doing there. It turns out my dad who works with them installing and monitoring CCTV had installed a camera across the street from the house that morning. The cop knew me and gave us a lift into town. Now we've nailed some cheap plastic garden chairs onto that porch and sit there waving into the camera drinking beer. Nobody bothers us because they can see we're doing no harm. I don't think anyone knows who owns that house anyway. In small towns everyone knows everyone. They know what's normal and what's not. If you don't fit in, then they have a habit of letting the police know, or the police have a habit of finding out. It might be better stopping by the police station and telling them you are photography students doing an assignment and you're going to be photographing a building from outside and not to worry. Then accidentally sneak inside. Just tell them you were doing a wizz.

| | | Posted by JuiceBox889 I'm planning to go to Lambertville High School tomorrow (i guess later today lol) and check it out. My question to you is, has anyone that has been there had any problems with police in that area? I'm a bit sketchy after todays happenings.
|
I've been to Lambertville once. Lovely place, but it's right next to someone's property. If you do go, plan on getting there sometime during the day when they're working, and leave no later than 5. We ended up being followed by the owner down the main road, but nothing else happened.

Hahaha. I admire the fact that you can pull this off without getting into trouble. [last edit 1/2/2008 6:06 PM by Shawn W. - edited 1 times]
