Meeting at a restaurant is a good idea, as long as someone gives me directions - I'm completely unfamiliar with the area. I'll also have to bring my friend along for transportation, because the bus system terrifies me.
And a day trip would be wonderful. I get too easily scared at night anyway. o_o

Where should we meet? I'd personally rather gather at a restaurant and grab some food before we head in. That gives us all a chance to get to know each other better, and then we could carpool to the site so we don't have 5 cars sitting conspicuously near an abandonment.
There's a TGI Friday's close. There's also a Chinese restaurant close, you know, for the full-on effect :p. Any of those places seem like a good place to meet up ahead of time. Maybe around 4?

as far as cars go we park in the near by shopping center and walk in the tall grass from there to splendid china, its like a 5 minute walk. right to the entrance of the place. when you guys get everything figured out PM with the details and i'll see if I can go or not. peeaaacceee

And another thing. Is any equipment going to be required other than flashlights/cameras? And since we're going during the day, we'll only need flashlights inside the buildings. Which is why I want to make sure that we all don't end up bringing our own.
