| | | Its been over four months since I returned from the state of New York, and through the weeks I've been putting off editing any photos from the trip. Yesterday I plugged in my hard-drive and finally started editing some photos from a trip to a well known power plant. I shot everything handheld @1600iso because I couldn't carry a tripod along. You can click the image to view larger on flickr. (and you'll also find the rest of the set!) I personally think I can see an improvement. What do you think?

| | | I think #1 is the strongest. Good composition and a clear subject. #3 would be my second pick, it's a shame there's the blown out bit - it takes what could be a great shot and knocks it down to 'good' If you feel like spending the time on it you could save it with some Photoshop work.

| | | 4 would be better if it was centered, especially since the left wall (the one we see too much of) is dark and featureless. The crooked floor/wall line in 6 bugs me, too.

| | | Love the 2nd and 3rd shots, I think 4 could use some leveling on the vertical lines, but I'm just a stickler for straightening that stuff.

| | | I like the second one the best! It's a good contrast with bright vs dull colors, and a good balance of light vs. dark. I like the composition of 5 and 6 as well. The framing in 7 could be better though. Perhaps applying bilateral symmetry or centering the hole? Not sure. But play around with it next time!
