The riskiest locations I went into at 3-6 AM and left at dark. If they are dark inside all the time anyway 11PM or later and out before dawn. If someone sees you and where you went, trouble is one phone call away. Darkness makes this much less likely. Treat it like the mission it is; don't be a sightseer and get tagged. Know and minimize the risks, know the site inside out, and who might be there. Once inside, spot them before they become aware of you and evade.

The problem in Texas is, that you can be shot at night without warning. So there is a 97% higher chance to be shot than to be confronted by PD. I am not sure what you like more, a bullet hole in your body or a LEO that asks you to leave.

| | | Also non lethal booby traps are allowed in Texas as well. As we know from rubber balls, they can be lethal as well, even when fired as a non lethal weapon. Here is the citation for the booby trap:
Texas Penal Code - Section 9.44. Use Of Device To Protect Property § 9.44. USE OF DEVICE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. The justification afforded by Sections 9.41 and 9.43 applies to the use of a device to protect land or tangible, movable property if: (1) the device is not designed to cause, or known by the actor to create a substantial risk of causing, death or serious bodily injury; and (2) use of the device is reasonable under all the circumstances as the actor reasonably believes them to be when he installs the device. Acts 1973, 63rd Leg., p. 883, ch. 399, § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1974. Amended by Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 913, ch. 342, § 6, eff. Sept. 1, 1975. Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 900, § 1.01, eff. Sept. 1, 1994.

You could be seen by somebody going in. Exploring without predawning is very risky and your chances of somebody being around is 97% greater.

We need a citation on this one as well.

That's you, not me. Park far, no lights, no smoking, slow & easy, camo, and off the trail and roads whenever possible. Stay away from homes/ranches, feeders, deer blinds, and livestock and you'll be fine. There are more goofy pussy asses in W TX than kangaroo mice. Try the exploring Port Elizabeth or Jersey City at night if you want to see real danger. Half the time I use the oilfield roads and drive straight in during daylight. The Rattlesnake airbase for example is best done predawn, unless rattlers, feral hogs, and ankle/leg busting holes scare you too.

More likely OC spray. Unmanned projectile weapons could kill a child, and the resulting flying shit and lawsuit would be epic. Expect to get in a bind in TX unless you know how to deal eye to eye with folks. I do that too, many times asking permission works wonders.

I have no idea what either of those are like, but I gotta say, try running some metro tunnels or something similar if you want to see some real danger. Large, very high momentum objects without a care in the world will get you more than a bored copper and an abandoned factory will.
Also back on topic, just climb the fucking fence. Ripped pants, blanket, gloves be damned.

Fences need to be breached with care and preparation. If you lack upper body strength or are overweight, consider a safer way in. Chin-ups and dips are a good conditioning exercises for fence climbing.

Someone was shooting towards me twice, do they do this at this two places as well? And where I was, it looked like a public road with no posted signs. He didn't come after me, because it was daylight and other people were around, I believe at night he would have taken me out and claimed he though I was a deer.

Now what kind of a fence would rip blankets, gloves and the pants apart? We didn't even do this with razor wire, so they must have improved it quite well.

Well if hes talking about Port Elizabeth and JC in Jersey which im pretty sure he is, then some sections are bad, others not so much. Depends how you handle yourself as well in those shitty cities.

Sure do. Jersey city have a ultrasonic detection network that triangulate gun shots and cops are dispatch to the location. It's that fun. I was shot at in Chester, PA driving down Rt 13 near the center of town. Just random fun by a bad shot. Fuck them, hope the next round has their name on it. Fences, locked gates, and purple paint marks are the same as no trespassing signs in TX. Poachers are TX landowners biggest fear. God forbid one of their scrawny corn fed bucks gets harvested by anyone but them. Burglaries and scrappers are also common in some areas. Know the climate, and how to present yourself. Most Texans are laid back and friendly if you are straight forward and honest. I've gone right up to doors and knocked. If they don't answer, that is their answer. Making direct contact is the only way to easily see some places here, and sometimes it just wasn't meant to be. If it looks like they want privacy, respect it.
