| | | What's the most frightening thing you've ever come across on a UE adventure?
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's come across some pretty twisted things. Several coffins filled with skeletons being one of them. See photos for proof... If you can attach photos or just tell stories - that'd be awesome. I'm super curious.

| | | I held heroin and crack in my hands in Detroit. Not frightening, but the most offsetting or eye opening or certainly weird experience. I've never had contact with drugs like that before. Sure I've smoked weed, watched people snort coke in front of me, watched someone smoke something out of a pipe in a back alley the day before but it's a lot different when your holding tagged and labeled evidence bags of "suspected crack rock" "suspected heroin" etc ... that the cops left behind when they abandoned the police station you are standing in. I realized even though I found it in an abandoned police station in tagged evidence bag, if cops walked in right now, they could arrest me and throw me in prison for decades for what I have in my hand. Same location I was reading police reports that had been left behind about someone being jumped or someone being raped or shot or robbed and you realize this isn't fiction. These are official reports of actual things that happened to real people. That someone was raped, and here is all of her information, name, address, social, DOB, everything. Just left behind because no one was around to make sure these documents were taken care of; nobody cared to see they were destroyed properly. You realize that there's a good chance she's probably dead, this is her obituary, her police report graphically detailing being gangraped, shot in the head, left for dead, and she survived that but in all likelihood you know that she's probably dead by the time you've read it. Detroit will do that to you. [last edit 12/16/2011 3:36 AM by \/adder - edited 1 times]

| | | all awsome stories. The police station one would be disturbing for most folk. I worked real close with the police for a few years, some of those reports are creepy.

| | | Not too frightening, more chilling than anything. We came across the words "I was never crazy" etched into a window frame while exploring an abandoned mental institution. Of course someone could have etched it in after the place was abandoned, but it still gave us goosebumps!

| | | Evidence room somewhere, a bunch of murder weapons and suicide files. Found a huge axe, multiple bloodied baseball bats, a bunch of string with the label "String tied around hands of victim found under bridge" and a pair of bloody knives labeled "large knife found in bedroom" and "small knife found in bedroom," respectively. There were also boxes of bloody clothes and linen.
There was also a bag of evidence from a suicide that had about a dozen bottles of pills and a small notebook that gave a little insight into the guys life. It was pretty sad.

Got to love all the bricks with evidence tags around them. USED rape kits all over the place. Mug shots as well. Interesting place for sure. You know its a bad hood when the cops say fuck it and close up shop. [last edit 12/19/2011 5:19 AM by cavemonkey - edited 1 times]
